Nichollas is the Operational Director and Co-Founder of GCD, as well as a licensed builder with extensive international and local experience. Having worked in Brazil, the United States, and across Australia, he brings a broad perspective and hands-on expertise to projects of every scale — from small residential works to high-end and large developments.
With a Bachelor in Business and Administration from Brazil, plus a Certificate III in Carpentry and Certificate IV in Building & Construction, Nicholas combines technical skill with strong leadership. Known for his problem-solving ability and positive energy on-site, he helps reduce client stress while ensuring projects are delivered with integrity, transparency, and precision.
Thiago brings a strong technical and academic foundation to GCD, backed by more than 9 years of experience in construction site management. His career began with studies as an Electronic Technician, followed by a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Work Safety Engineering. After moving to Australia in 2017 to improve his English, Thiago quickly embraced the local construction industry. He continued to expand his skills with a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Project Management (2018) and a Certificate III in Carpentry (2020). Today, as Construction Manager at GCD, Thiago combines his international expertise and local knowledge to lead projects with precision, safety, and care.
Riley Stack
HEAD CARPENTER
Riley discovered his passion for construction at fifteen, learning the craft alongside his father, an experienced carpenter. In 2019, he completed his Certificate III in Carpentry and has since built nearly a decade of industry experience.
As GCD’s Head Carpenter from the very beginning, Riley leads teams on large-scale and high-end projects, bringing precision and expertise to every stage. Known for his exceptional finishing work and eye for detail, he ensures each project is completed to the highest standard — done right the first time.
Guilherme Guedes
CARPENTER
Guilherme graduated in Marketing Management in Brazil before moving to Australia in 2015 to embrace new experiences and opportunities. In 2019, he began his Certificate III in Carpentry at TAFE QLD while gaining hands-on experience across commercial projects, renovations, new builds, and government sites.
Passionate about craftsmanship and continuous learning, Gui brings both technical knowledge and a positive energy to every job. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing and spending time in nature, passions he now shares with his son
Rayner
CARPENTER
Rayner moved to Australia in 2016 and began his carpentry studies at TAFE in 2019, completing his Certificate III in 2020. Before joining the construction industry, he studied Civil Engineering in Brazil and worked for six years as a sales representative in the healthcare supply sector.
Since shifting into carpentry, Rayner has gained experience across all areas of the trade, with a particular passion for framing, fix-out, and fit-off work. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and playing footvolley with friends
Cam Butler
CARPENTER
Cam began his carpentry career in New Zealand in 2016, starting straight after school. Over six years, he gained wide-ranging experience across the building industry — from new builds and renovations to alterations, pole sheds, concreting, decks, and landscaping. Working with a company that handled projects from start to finish gave him valuable skills across every stage of construction.
In January 2023, Cam moved to Australia and joined GCD, where he continues to expand his expertise. He especially enjoys working on new architectural builds, as they challenge him to learn new techniques and deliver complex, high-quality results.
Outside of work, Cam is passionate about fitness and sport, spending his time at the gym, playing rugby, competing in Hyrox, enjoying beach days, travelling, and being with family and friends.
Rafael
CARPENTER
Rafael arrived in Australia in August 2022 and soon after joined GCD in December of the same year. With over 12 years of experience in Brazil’s metallurgical industry, specialising in process control and planning, he brings strong technical knowledge and precision to his work.
In May 2023, Rafael began his Certificate III in Carpentry, further developing his skills on site. He particularly enjoys working on detailed projects such as decks, pergolas, moulding and panelling, and feature walls — where craftsmanship and attention to detail make the biggest difference.
Outside of work, Rafael enjoys the Gold Coast lifestyle, spending time at the beach, camping, and playing soccer with friends.
